Bengaluru: Common Entrance Test (CET) examinations scheduled for 23 and 24 April are most likely to be postponed in the wake of Lok Sabha elections.

The election commission of India on Sunday announced the dates of Lok Sabha elections that will be held in seven phases across the country.

The elections in Karnataka will be conducted in two phases. First phase of elections in state will take place on 18 April while the second phase is scheduled for 23 April.

As the dates of the examination and second phase of election collides chances are that the CET will be postponed as students who travel to other cities to attend the exams at allotted exam centres might find inconvenience to cast their votes.
