Bengaluru: Prakash Gowda has alleged that he was attacked by the activists of Sangh Parivar. He added that he was attacked for questioning the whereabouts of dead bodies of 300 terrorists who were killed in the IAF air strike in Pakistan territory on Tuesday 26 February.
Gowda had questioned about the dead bodies of the terrorist who were killed in a Facebook post. He was severely criticized and eventually the Sangh Parivar activists allegedly attacked him.
Speaking to VarthaBharati over phone call, Gowda added “Out of curiosity I questioned about the dead bodies of 300+ terrorist, who our media channels claimed were killed in the IAF air strike. I just wanted to know about it. But the Sangh Parivar called me treason and attacked me”.
“I have never posted anything against my country on Facebook, they just made me a soft target out of this. Chamarajanagar police also didn’t come to my aid, not the district administration came to my rescue despite the fact that I was attacked in the vicinity of SP’s office” he added.
He further added “Two secular parties have formed coalition government in our state, even then these fringe forces continue their hooliganism. Anyone questioning the right wing and central government are being attacked. The government and police department immediately should initiate action in this regard and bar them from continuing the hooliganism”.
