Mumbai: BJP National General Secretary and in-charge of Goa, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra CT Ravi on Friday attended an event organized by BJP Maharashtra unit’s Healthcare Volunteers Programme for Mandal and Ward level Karyakartas at Mumbai.
The BJP leader took to his official Twitter handle to share the pictures and details of the event on Friday evening. He added that he spoke about the “Monumental work” work done by the Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the COVID pandemic.
But what caught eye was how the COVID-19 guidelines and protocols were violated during the event as was evident from the pictures shared by Ravi himself.
In one of the pictures shared by Ravi, almost all the dignitaries on the diaz were seen violating the physical distancing norms and most of them were even seen without wearing a mask.
Although in one of the pictures Ravi along with others was seen wearing a mask, a few still were without masks and violating the physical distancing.
"Participated in the @BJP4Maharashtra Healthcare Volunteers Programme for Mandal and Ward level Karyakartas at Mumbai. I spoke about the monumental work done by PM @narendramodi Government during #COVID19 pandemic. I appealed to Our Karyakartas to dedicate more time for Nation" he wrote in the tweet.

New Delhi (PTI): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday termed the BJP's victory in Bengal and Assam assembly polls a "theft" of the mandate, and a big step forward in the saffron party's mission to "destroy" Indian democracy.
Gandhi also came out in support of the TMC, which has been trounced by the BJP in the polls, and urged those gloating over the loss of Mamata Banerjee's party to put petty politics aside.
"Some in the Congress, and others, are gloating about TMC's loss. They need to understand this clearly - the theft of Assam and Bengal's mandate is a big step forward by the BJP in its mission to destroy Indian democracy," Gandhi said in a post on X.
"Put petty politics aside. This is not about one party or another. This is about India," he said in his post.
The BJP ousted Trinamool Congress from power in Bengal and captured power for the third time in a row in Assam in results of assembly polls declared on Monday.
