New Delhi, August 07: Municipal Administration Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi said that “I am born Congressman. There is no question of going to BJP. If needed, I have the capacity of bringing 10 MLAs from BJP”.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, he said that “I have started my political career in Congress and will complete in Congress. There is no question of going to BJP”, he said.

The allegation that he has come to Delhi with BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa was baseless. He has reached New Delhi before Yeddurappa’s arrival. He has come to Delhi to meet the AICC president to demand him one more ministerial berth to his community in the JDS-Congress coalition government, he said.

“Congress is inevitable to the country. I will not leave the Congress. It was said that the Congress will be wiped out from the country when Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the prime minister. But the Congress would remain in the country irrespective of any leader”, he said.
