Bengaluru, Oct 4: The Karnataka State Permanent Backward Classes Commission, which is conducting a state-wide Social and Educational Survey to gather information about the social and educational conditions of all citizens, has now enabled an online option for the public to self-declare their details.
Citizens can participate by visiting https://kscbcselfdeclaration.karnataka.gov.in/. Upon clicking the link, they must select the “Citizen” option and proceed to log in by entering their mobile number. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number, which must be entered to continue.
The next page will display the current survey status whether it has been completed or is still pending. If the survey for a household has not yet been conducted, the message “No household members added yet start filling the form” will appear. Users can then click on Start New Survey.
On the next screen, citizens must enter the UHID number printed on the survey sticker affixed to their house and provide the required information as prompted on the website.
To complete the process smoothly, citizens should keep essential documents ready including Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, and, if applicable, Disability Certificate or UID for persons with disabilities. Once the survey is successfully submitted, a confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile number, the Commission said in its statement.
