Railway minister holds ‘rail pe charcha’ with passengers on Mysuru-Chennai Express
Mysuru: Railway Minister Piyush Goyal held ‘rail pe charcha’ with commuters by travelling in Mysuru-Chennai Express train on Monday.
Goyal, who was in the city to take part in the inauguration of Mysuru-Bengaluru double track and other development works along with PM Narendra Modi, returned to Bengaluru in the train.
Railway staff and passengers were shocked when they saw Goyal in general compartment and the minister walked from one sleeper coach to another interacting with travellers. He is said to have enquired about their journey, services, cleanliness and also sought suggestions if they have any.

Rubio says NATO “does not exist without the United States”
Washington: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has criticised NATO, saying the military alliance “does not exist without the United States”.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, Rubio said, “And everyone knows this fact.”
His remarks come amid growing tensions over the ongoing US-Israeli military actions against Iran.
US President Donald Trump has also sharply criticised NATO for not supporting the campaign. In a post on Truth Social, he said NATO countries are “COWARDS and we will REMEMBER!”
