Mysuru: Ready to leave the post of Chief Minister for Dalits if High Command tells, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday in Mysuru, The CM said "If high command decides to make Dalit as CM, I will obey that order. If the High Command wants to make a Dalit CM, let them do it. I have no objection to that."

Last time I was unanimously elected as the Chief Minister. On May 13, 2013, I had taken the oath as Chief Minister and today completed five years. I have governed without any black spot. This time Congress will come back to power once again. The Congress will be getting more than 120 seats. I will win in both constituencies and will become the chief minister again."

"Election politics is enough. But will remain in active politics. I will not contest elections again even if Brahma comes and asks me to do so. Instead, being in the party I would continue giving, he clarified.

The Chief Minister said that "a CM should not be an escapist. This time I have contested elections to prevent the spreading of false message. The election is over. I will not criticise anybody, and I will not discuss the personnel issues of BSY and HDK."

"Constantly I was indulged in election campaigns. Today and tomorrow I will not go anywhere. Rather I would get a complete rest," Siddaramaiah added.
