Bengaluru: Pradosh, who is an accused is the Renukaswamy murder case, has approached the Karnataka High Court requesting for a quashing of the order to transfer him from Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru to the Hindalaga Central Jail in Belagavi.
The advocate representing the accused requested the High Court bench, consisting of Justice M Nagaprasanna, to retain Pradosh at the Parappana Agrahara Jail and not get him shifted to Belagavi.

When asked by the judge if the accused was making the request to remain in Bengaluru in relation to the Renukaswamy murder case, the advocate replied in the affirmative. He added that Pradosh only requested the HC to cancel the order to shift him from the A14 Parappana Agrahara Jail as he had no role in the video clip on the jail inmates’ activities that went viral on social media.
The HC bench has adjourned the hearing of the petition to the second week of September.
