Hubballi: C.T. Ravi, a member of the Legislative Council, predicted the downfall of the Siddaramaiah-led government by Diwali. Speaking to reporters in Hubballi, Ravi likened the government to a ticking time bomb, claiming that the Congress has set a deadline for Siddaramaiah's resignation.
"The Siddaramaiah government is like a thief's wife, always anxious. The Congress has fixed a time bomb within the party, set to go off by Diwali," Ravi stated. He suggested that discussions are already underway regarding the appointment of a new Chief Minister and the formation of a new government.
Ravi further accused the Siddaramaiah government of rampant corruption, referring to ongoing court cases like the Muda scam. He argued that the Congress is trying to divert attention by accusing the BJP of corruption during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ravi cited various scandals, including the Valmiki scam, Muda scam, and Arkavati de-notification scandal, which he claimed occurred during Siddaramaiah's previous tenure as Chief Minister. Healso spoke about the need for a government with moral integrity.
