Bengaluru, November 2: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said that stay was given for online sales of liquor and a decision would be taken after reviewing the concerned files.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday after participating in ‘Bengaluru Trauma Course-2018’ programme, the Chief Minister said that the previous government had given contract for selling liquor online. Since corruption charges were made in the process, the sales was stayed temporarily, he said.
“BJP MLC Ayanur Manjunath alleged that the sales of liquor was increased in Shivamogga after my visit. My visit to Shivamogga has created fear among BJP leaders. So, they have been making meaningless allegations against me”, he said.
BJP leaders have been making allegation against coalition government for their leader backtracked from the election. Though I have not been to Ramanagara, the people from that constituency would elect our candidate. So, why should I purchase the BJP candidate, he asked.
Farmers convention
After the election, a mega convention of the farmers would be conducted and distributed no objection certificates on loans to them. Not only Diwali, he would also give one new programme for the people of the state every month, for which, he has made sufficient preparations. Two MLC seats were given to the Congress and one seat was retained for JDS. Shortly, the nomination of those seats would be conducted, he said.
