Bengaluru: Tejasvi Surya, the Member of Parliament for Bengaluru South Lok Sabha Constituency, has seen a significant increase in his assets over the past five years, according to affidavit documents filed on Thursday.

When Surya filed his nomination papers for his first election on a BJP ticket in 2019, he declared his total assets to be ₹13.46 lakh. However, his net worth has now risen to ₹4.10 crore, marking a 30-fold increase.

The primary sources of this income growth, as per Surya's affidavit, are investments in mutual funds and stocks. He has invested ₹1.99 crore in mutual funds and ₹1.79 crore in stocks.
