Bengaluru: An elated S Sreesanth on Wednesday posted an emotional message on his Twitter handle after being named in the list of Kerala probables for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. In the video, he is seen receiving his state cape with Kerala teammates and administrators applauding him.

In the caption of the video, Sreesanth wrote that there was nothing stronger than a broken man, who has rebuilt himself. With a few hashtags, the cricketer also said he was humbled by the love and support his fans and administrators have shown to him during his tough times.

He also wrote with a hashtag that the ‘best is yet to come’.

The inclusion means Sreesanth is closer than ever to making his comeback in Indian cricket since his seven-year ban for spot-fixing ended in September this year.

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina retweeted Sreesanth’s tweet and wished him the best.

“All the best brother! See you soon!” Raina wrote.

The 37-year-old last played for India in 2011 and played in the Indian Premier League in 2013 before the spot-fixing scandal broke out.

Dhanbad (Jharkhand) (PTI): At least four workers died after being buried under coal slurry in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district on Saturday, a police official said.

The incident took place at Moonidih coal washery in the command area of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL).

"Bodies of all four workers were dug out of debris during a rescue operation," Putki police station in-charge Waqar Hussain told PTI.

The incident took place when coal slurry was being loaded into trucks by workers, during which a large chunk of slurry fell and trapped several workers underneath, officials said.

The deceased have been identified as Manik Bauri, Dinesh Bauri, Deepak Bauri, and Hemlal Gope.

Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased and local villagers placed the bodies in front of the washery gate and began a protest.

They demanded compensation, jobs for dependents and action against those responsible for the incident.

Police and administration officials are trying to pacify the protesters, an official said.
