Three die in road accident at Honnavar
Karwar, August 14: In a head-on collision between a tempo and a motor bike, three persons who were on the bike died on the spot on National Highway 66 near Anantavadi village in Honnavar taluk on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Abhishek Nayak of Kumta, Sandeep Gowda and Sangeeta Gowda of Anantavadi. As the bike slipped, it collided with the tempo head-on. In the incident, the bike caught fire and all the three suffered burn injuries and died on the spot. A case was registered at Manki police station.
