Tumkur: Canter rams into stationary lorry; two killed on spot
Tumkur: Two persons killed and one severely injured when a speeding canter rammed into a parked ten-wheeler lorry near Sira here.
The deceased have not been identified yet. The injured youth has been admitted to Sira government hospital, locals informed.
Fire department SI Hanumantarayappa and staff who visited the spot struggled to pull out the bodies.
Sira town police have registered a case.

Voting concludes in Puducherry, its enclaves
Puducherry (PTI): Voting for the 30 Assembly constituencies in the Union Territory of Puducherry concluded at 6 pm on Thursday while people who arrived before the deadline were allowed to wait in queues and cast their votes, officials said.
According to initial estimates, the polling percentage has crossed 86 per cent, they said.
