UT Khader takes oath as minister
Bengaluru, June 6: Mangaluru MLA UT Khader took oath as the minister in the JDS- Congress coalition government here on Wednesday.
Governor Vajubhai Vala administered the oath at a simple program at Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru.
HD Revanna, RV Deshapande, Bandeppa Kashempur, DK Shivakumar,GT Deve Gowda, KJ George, DC Thammanna, Krishna Byre Gowda, MC Managuli, NH Shivashankar Reddy, SR Srinivas, Ramesh Jarkiholi, Venkatarao Nadagouda, Priyanka Kharge, Sa Ra Mahesh, Zameer Ahmed Khan and N Mahesh have already took oath.

10-year-old boy killed after leopard drags him away in Chamarajanagar
Chamarajanagar: A 10-year-old boy was killed in a leopard attack near Male Mahadeshwara Hills in Hanur taluk of Chamarajanagar district on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Harshit, a resident of Bengaluru. He had visited the Male Mahadeshwara Betta Temple with his family and was on his way to Nagamale when the leopard attacked and dragged him away, police said.
After a search operation, the boy’s body was recovered from a nearby forest area about half an hour later.
The body was shifted to the Male Mahadeshwara Hills Primary Health Centre for further procedures.
