Bengaluru: The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who was one of the guests at HD Kumaraswamy’s swearing-in on Wednesday, did not seem completely happy.

According to reports, Mamata had to halt in the Bengaluru’s infamous traffic jams literally. Then she resorted to walking a few meters in order to reach the Vidhana Soudha. Following which, the West Bengal chief minister became angry.

In the video, which shows her entering the venue, she can be seen complaining to Karnataka Director General of Police, Neelamani Raju in an upset manner. She also went on to express her displeasure with the situation to Mr. Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy.

Latur (PTI): A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by an 18-year-old man in Latur, leading to the arrest of the main accused and owners of two cafes where the crime occurred on December 4, police said on Saturday.

Police traced the girl within hours of registering the complaint. The accused, identified as Rihan Gulab Shaikh, was arrested based on the girl's complaint. Two others are owners of two cafes where the crime occurred, police said.

 

Police registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), POCSO Act, and the Prevention of Atrocities Act, an official said.
