Mysuru, May 15: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) candidate from Narasimharaja constituency in Mysuru urged the Returning Officer to withhold the election results of the constituency and recounting of VVPAT data as there is a suspicion on misuse of EVMs.

As per the counting of votes, he has got zero votes in Sl. No. 5 of the 135 A polling station and this has created suspicion as the SDPI workers have voted in the polling station. Apart from this, the party workers have also voted in other polling stations. But he did not get many votes. So, the election commission should recount the votes polled in the constituency. Till then, the results of the constituency should be withheld, he demanded.
