Man accused of theft escapes with police revolver during arrest in Kalaburagi

In a dramatic incident, a man accused of multiple thefts managed to escape with the service revolver of a police sub-inspector during his arrest in Afzalpur town of Kalaburagi district on Sunday night. The accused, identified as Khaja and hailing from Ballurgi, had a long history of more than 20 theft cases registered against him across police stations in Bengaluru, Afzalpur, and Kalaburagi.
