Siddaramaiah won't contest Assembly polls from Kolar, claims Yediyurappa

Senior BJP leader B S Yediyurappa on Monday claimed that Congress leader Siddaramaiah was allegedly playing a drama by saying he would not contest the Assembly polls from Kolar segment as announced, and may go back to his home district of Mysuru instead.


Bengaluru: 19-year-old Pakistani girl, boyfriend arrested for illegal stay

Bellandur Police arrested Ikrah Jeevani, a 19-year-old girl from Pakistan, and Mulayam Singh, her boyfriend, for residing in the city sans official and legal permission. Ikrah got acquainted with Singh, who was working in Bengaluru as a security guard, through a gaming app. The couple was residing in Junnasandra on Sarjapur Road in the city, said police sources.
