Bengaluru: BBMP serves notice to Jhatka Cut Hindavi Mart Meats

The BBMP has reportedly served notice to the owner of the Jhatka Cut Hindavi Mart Meats at Ullal in the city for operating the business without a licence and the officials have also given the meat outlet’s owner a week’s deadline to get his licence in order. 


No religious attire including Hijab to be allowed for students in PU examination: Karnataka Minister

The Minister for Primary and Higher Education B.C. Nagesh said, “The students writing the 2nd PUC examinations will not be allowed to wear any religious attire including the Hijab”, he informed.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday dismissed the allegations that innocent people are being held in connection with the Hubballi violence and said arrests were made based on evidence.
