Chandru Murder Case: Police's fact check confirms victim was not killed for not speaking Urdu

The communal remarks by Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra in connection with the murder of Chandru, a youth from Goripalya had caused widespread outrage over social media and certain Kannada news channels. After the minister’s allegations that the youth was killed for not speaking in Urdu in a Muslim area, the Karnataka Police have now updated an official factchecked report of the case.
