Election results in BJP's favour will have positive effect on Karnataka Assembly poll: CM Bommai

Bengaluru: Buoyed by the election results in favour of BJP in four States, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday said the party's victory there will have a positive effect in the state, which goes to Assembly polls next year.


Mar 9: 181 COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka on Wednesday logged 181 fresh COVID-19 cases and two deaths. These took the fresh infections and fatalities to 39,43,108 and 40,006 respectively, said the Department of Health.
