Covid-19 infections at Dharwad medical college rise to 281; Govt hints at action

Bengaluru: With the number of COVID-19 infections at Dharwad's Medical College reaching 281 and new clusters emerging in Bengaluru amid the threats of new variant 'Omicron', Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday hinted at putting in place certain precautionary measures to control the spread of virus.

Nov 26: 402 new COVID-19 cases, 6 fatalities in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka logged 402 fresh COVID-19 cases and six deaths on Friday, taking the total number of infections to 29,94,963 and the toll to 38,193.
