Shimoga DC office employee who went missing, withdrew cash from ATM after leaving home

In the missing case of Giriraj, a first division clerk at the District Commissioner’s office, new developments have been made. It has been learned that after leaving his residence, Giriraj had gone into the ATM near a bus stand and withdrawn cash of rupees 15 thousand.

 In an incident of multiple murders, three women from a single family were beaten to death using a wooden stick on late Tuesday night at Yaramaras in the jurisdiction of the Raichur Rural police station. 

Gadag: Mother jumps into river with three daughters; two killed, two survive

In an incident that reportedly occurred on Wednesday morning, a mother attempted suicide by jumping into the river along with her 3 daughters, resulting in the death of the mother and her 8-year-old daughter, while her two other daughters escaped alive in Hole Aalur village of Rona Taluk at Gadag district. It has been learned that domestic problems have led to the incident. 

Sept 28: 629 COVID-19 cases, 17 deaths in Karnataka
