Killing of accused correct and timely: Bengaluru top cop

 Defending the killing of all four accused in the rape-and-murder of a 25-year-old Hyderabad veterinarian by the police on Friday, Bengaluru top cop Bhaskar Rao termed it as "correct and timely action" given the situation.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka by-election poll of polls result has predicted a smooth victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with the party's victory in at least eight seats. Congress, on the other hand, is predicted to bag less than five seats in the Karnataka by-elections.
