Government employee Rajesh D Bangera (50) who was arrested in Gauri Lankesh murder case as the 10th accused in the case, has worked as a bridge between some accused and gave pistol training to the accused.

With a superstitious belief that they would get salvation if they drowned in Kapila River, an aged couple jumped into the river to commit suicide at Nanjangud on Tuesday. But in the incident, Nagaraj (70) died and his wife Kalavati (60) was shocked. She was admitted to Nanjangud government hospital for treatment.
