Rain damage; Govt mulling special package for coastal districts: Deshpande

To take up relief works for the damages caused by the rains, the government has released Rs 6.79 crore and Rs 6.05 crore to Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts respectively. The government would think of providing a special package to find permanent solution to rain related damages after discussing with the respective deputy commissioners, said Revenue Minister RV Deshpande.
