Bengaluru: Senior politician, Union Minister CK Jafar Shareef, who passed away on Sunday, will be kept for public viewing at the KPCC office on the Queen's Road in Bengaluru.

Mandya: It was a challenge for the government to make arrangements for the public and fans to pay last respects to senior actor and former minister Ambareesh in Mandya district. Despite many problems, it was handled smoothly, informed HD Kumaraswamy.

A pall of gloom descended over the villages of the victims who died when a private bus they were travelling in plunged into VC canal at Kanaganamaradi village in Pandavapura taluk on Saturday. Total 30 persons died in the accident. Now, there was a grave silence in the houses of the victims.

The cremation of the mortal remains of former minister and senior actor Ambareesh would be held at the Kanteerava Studio in the city on Monday with full state honours, said Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy.
