Karnataka theatres avoid screening 'Kaala' amid protests

Single screen theatres and multiplexes across Karnataka on Thursday avoided screening the multi-lingual "Kaala" film of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth amid vociferous protests by pro-Kannada activists against his remarks on the Cauvery river water issue.
