Six held in Bengaluru for attack of rowdy-sheeter over old rivalry

Bengaluru: Six men who allegedly barged into the house of a rowdy-sheeter’s friend in Rajgopal Nagar when he was there and attacked him with rods and machetes recently, were arrested by the city police on Monday.

 


Kumaraswamy urges Amit Shah to initate inquiry into IPS officer M Chandra Sekhar’s conduct

Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, urging the transfer of the investigation into the MUDA scam involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to central agencies. In his letter, Kumaraswamy expressed concerns over the impartiality of the ongoing probe by the Karnataka Lokayukta, highlighting the involvement of IPS officer M Chandra Sekhar, ADGP SIT in the Lokayukta, whom he accused of being closely aligned with the Congress-led state government.
