SIT files chargesheet in Prajwal Revanna rape victim kidnap case

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Karnataka Police has filed its first chargesheet in the case involving the former Janata Dal (Secular) MP Prajwal Revanna naming his parents and six others. The charges relate to the alleged kidnapping of a sexual assault victim, who was employed as a domestic worker in the Revanna household.


FSL confirms authenticity of videos in Prajwal Revanna case

The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has confirmed that the obscene videos found on a pen drive in the Prajwal Revanna sex scandal case are authentic and have not been altered. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the case had sent the videos to FSL for verification.

Karnataka govt 'strongly urges' governor to withdraw show cause notice issued to CM

The Karnataka government on Thursday "strongly advised" Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot to withdraw the show cause notice he issued to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) site allotment 'scam', and alleged that it was part of a concerted effort to destabilise the Congress regime.
