Children made to clean septic tank in Malur residential school: Principal, 2 others suspended

Karnataka Social Welfare Minister Dr. HC Mahadevappa has suspended three staff members of the Morarji Desai Residential School in Malur taluk, including the principal and warden, under charge of getting students of the school to clean a septic tank.

In a shocking incident at Morarji Desai Residential School in Yaluvahalli, Malur taluk, students, all belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities, were allegedly forced to clean a septic tank. The incident came to light through a viral video shot by a teacher on a mobile phone.
