New Delhi: Actress Urvashi Rautela on Friday evening left fans confused with a cryptic tweet after cricketer Rishabh Pant suffered a road accident earlier in the day.
In the tweet, Urvashi wrote, “I pray for you & your family’s wellbeing.”
While the tweet left many users sarcastically confused, others appreciated the actor for posting the message despite their personal differences.
Users took a sarcastic dig at the actress and asked if the tweet was for PM Modi whose mother passed away or for former Brazilian footballer Pele who passed away due to cancer – both on Friday.
Earlier, Urvashi had also posted a cryptic Instagram post with her glamorous picture. The picture was captioned “Praying”.
Rumors about the relationship between Urvashi and the cricketer emerged in 2018 after they were spotted together at restaurants, parties, and other events. But in 2019, Pant dismissed rumors and announced his relationship with his girlfriend Isha Negi. He even shared a picture with Isha on Instagram.
Since then, they have been taking oblique potshots at each other. A few months ago, Urvashi shared a post about some "Chhotu bhaiya" along with hashtags #RPChotuBhaiyya and #DontTakeAdvantageOfASilentGirl that made the internet abuzz.
The post was in response to an Instagram Story shared and deleted by Pant he said "some people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity". The Story was in response to an interview Urvashi gave in August in which she claimed that one "RP" waited for her in a hotel lobby and called her several times.
I pray for you & your family’s wellbeing.

Udupi: Udupi City Police have registered a case of online fraud after a 62-year-old hotel chef was allegedly cheated of Rs 1.13 lakh by a woman who befriended him on WhatsApp, claiming to be based in London.
The victim, identified as Pandu Kariappa Poojary, a resident of Kuthpadi in Udupi, was working at a hotel in Mangaluru.
He reportedly came into contact with a woman identifying herself as Emilda William on WhatsApp. During their interactions, she told Poojary that she planned to start a cosmetics and hotel business in India and would meet him during a visit to Mangaluru.
On April 7, Emilda sent Poojary a flight ticket from London to Delhi via WhatsApp. The following day, Poojary received a phone call from a woman who informed him that Emilda had arrived at Delhi airport carrying a demand draft worth Rs 5 crore along with other items. The caller allegedly asked him to pay Rs 70,000.
Subsequently, Poojary also received a call from Emilda, who was reportedly crying and spoke about the situation. Believing the claims, he transferred a total of Rs 1,13,300 in phases using a scanner. He later realised that he had been cheated.
