Asiad 2018: Naorem ensures wushu medal
Jakarta, Aug 21 : India's Naorem Roshibina Devi assured herself a medal in the wushu competition after advancing to the semi-finals of the women's sanda 60 kilogram category at the 18th Asian Games here on Tuesday.
Naorem defeated Mubashra of Pakistan 2-0 in the quarter-finals. This is the first medal for India in wushu at this year's Asian Games.
Naorem will take on Cai Yingying of China in the semi-finals. The loser will have to be content with a bronze medal.
Cai had defeated Kurniati Mei Yulianengsih of Indonesia 2-0 in the quarter-finals.

Minor girl kidnapped and raped; main accused and two cafe owners held
Latur (PTI): A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by an 18-year-old man in Latur, leading to the arrest of the main accused and owners of two cafes where the crime occurred on December 4, police said on Saturday.
Police traced the girl within hours of registering the complaint. The accused, identified as Rihan Gulab Shaikh, was arrested based on the girl's complaint. Two others are owners of two cafes where the crime occurred, police said.
Police registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), POCSO Act, and the Prevention of Atrocities Act, an official said.
