Sent into bat, KKR rode on a 138-run partnership between openers Phil Salt (75 off 37 balls) and Sunil Narine (71 off 32 balls).

The batters that followed the openers then consolidated the home team's position and took them to an imposing total, as the PBKS bowlers struggled to get their act right in the face of a sustained assault.

BC Road: The dead body of an individual was found within the confines of Buntara Bhavan near BC Road - Talapady, early in the morning today. Identified as Santosh, a resident of Uppinangady Valalu, the deceased was discovered amidst a pool of blood within the premises. Notably, Santosh's motorcycle was located outside the compound.

The exact circumstances leading to Santosh's demise remain unclear. Preliminary reports suggest that he may have halted his bike, subsequently losing balance and falling within the compound. However, further investigation is required to ascertain the precise cause of death.

Bantwal Rural Police, led by Inspector Sivakumar and Station Officer Harish, are currently conducting inquiries into the matter.
