Vijay Hazare Trophy: Karnataka thrash Jharkhand, set up quarterfinal against Punjab

Pace trio of Ronit More, Vidwath Kaverappa and M Venkatesh grabbed three wickets each as Karnakata thrashed Jharkhand by five wickets in a low-scoring affair to cruise into Vijay Hazare Trophy quarterfinals here on Saturday.


FIFA WC: Poland defeats Saudi Arabia 2-0

Doha: Saudi Arabia on Saturday was defeated by Poland by a margin of 2-0 at the FIFA World Cup Group C encounter at the Education City Stadium. Piotr Zielinski and Robert Lewandowski scored in 39 and 82 minutes respectively to put Poland ahead in the match.
