Washington DC: President of the US Donald Trump reportedly visited a restaurant in the city on Tuesday, where he had to face a group of pro-Palestine protesters who demanded that the country be freed and also called their President ‘Hitler of our time’.
Trump, with the Secret Service and accompanied by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance and Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, is said to have visited Joe’s Seafood, a short distance away from White House, to prove the high level of safety in the city since he took over the federal law enforcement.
The protesters at the restaurant were heard shouting out to Trump, “Free DC! Free Palestine! Trump is the Hitler of our time!”
An unfazed Trump, laying further stress on the safety in the city, reportedly told the group of people to enjoy themselves as they had a safe city and ‘have a good time’.
Further, addressing reporters outside the hotel, the President is learned to have said that he could not have stood in the middle of a street in Washington DC a few months ago as the safety level in the city was very low. Now, however, the security measures have been improved greatly and the restaurants are drawing customers in high numbers, which reflected the level of safety in the city, he added.
