Gaza City: In a devastating incident, a massive explosion rocked Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday, leaving hundreds dead, according to the Hamas-run Health Ministry.
The hospital was filled with wounded individuals and Palestinians seeking shelter at the time of the blast. Hamas blamed an Israeli airstrike, while the Israeli military countered, attributing the tragedy to a rocket misfired by other Palestinian groups.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his horror over the loss of life in a heartfelt message shared on his social media account, formerly known as Twitter. He wrote, "I’m horrified by the loss of life at Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza. My thoughts are with those who lost loved ones. It is imperative that innocent civilians be protected and international law upheld. Together, we must determine what happened. There must be accountability.”
Trudeau's statement echoed the sentiments of many international leaders who have called for a thorough investigation into the incident and demanded accountability for the tragic loss of civilian lives.

Congress MLC Abdul Jabbar suspended from primary membership of party
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar has passed an order suspending Member of the Legislative Council Abdul Jabbar from the primary membership of the party.
Shivakumar, who is also Deputy Chief Minister, has stated in his order that the MLC is to be suspended with immediate effect.
Jabbar is said to have been suspended for his alleged anti-party activities during the by-election to the Davanagere South Assembly constituency.
