Trump announces US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, declares mission very successful

Washington, D.C.: U.S. President Donald Trump announced on social media that American forces have carried out what he described as “very successful” airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated: “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space.”

He further claimed that a “full payload of BOMBS” was dropped on Fordow, the primary target, and asserted that all American aircraft involved in the operation have returned safely. “Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this,” he wrote.

Concluding his message, Trump added, “NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

There has been no immediate confirmation or response from the U.S. Department of Defense or Iranian authorities regarding the alleged strikes.

Three killed as car collides with bus on Bengaluru outskirts

Bengaluru (PTI): Three people were killed when a speeding car collided with a KSRTC bus near Devanahalli on the outskirts of the city, police said on Thursday.

According to police, the crash took place at Lalagondanahalli Gate on late Wednesday.

All three occupants of the car, who died in this tragedy, have been identified as Mohan Kumar (33), Suman (28) and Sagar (23), all residents of Sadahalli in Devanahalli taluk.

According to preliminary reports, the car was travelling from Chikkaballapur towards Devanahalli at high speed when the driver lost control, jumped the divider and rammed into the KSRTC bus.

Several passengers in the bus sustained minor injuries, police said, adding an investigation is on.
