As promised, Imran Khan govt sells 70 luxury cars including Mercedes, BMW

The cash-strapped Pakistan government on Monday sold 70 cars “above their market price” as it started the process of auctioning of 102 luxury vehicles of the PM House under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s austerity drive, a media report said.


Over 100 killed in Nigeria floods

Over 100 people have died and thousands have been displaced in floods in Nigeria, authorities said.

The National Emergency Management Agency (Nema) said heavy rains caused the Niger River and Benue River to overflow, resulting in a series of floods across the country over two weeks, with rural areas most vulnerable.
