Amaravati, April 7: All 24 Ministers of the Andhra Pradesh cabinet on Thursday submitted their resignation to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy ahead of the proposed reorganisation of the Council of Ministers.

The incumbent Ministers put-in their papers at the meeting of the Cabinet, which was their last, official sources said.

They remained in their posts for exactly 34 months.

The Council of Ministers will be reconstituted here on April 11. The chief minister had a meeting with Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan on Wednesday night, wherein the cabinet reorganisation was discussed, the sources added.

Mysuru: The Udayagiri on Wednesday police raided a house and seized illegally stored 154 kg 450 grams of cannabis, and have arrested two individuals in this connection.

The Udayagiri Police acting on a tipoff about illegal storage of drugs in a house in KHB Layout in Kalyangiri, conducted a raid at the house on Wednesday morning. They found the cannabis packed in eight plastic bags. The two suspects were arrested on the spot and later placed in judicial custody.

A case has been registered under the NDPS Act at the Udayagiri Police Station. During interrogation, the suspects provided information about a third individual believed to be the primary accused. Authorities are continuing their search for this person.
