Baby dies after surgery, FIR against fake doctor

Etah (UP) (PTI): An FIR has been registered against an alleged fake doctor after a two-and-a-half-month-old boy died after he conducted a minor surgery on him, police said on Thursday.
The baby died on Wednesday due to excessive bleeding after Tilak Singh operated on him. It has been alleged that Singh did not inform the family about the baby's death and fled, a police official said.
Chief Medical Officer Umesh Chandra Tripathi said that an FIR has been registered in the matter and he has also ordered a probe into it.

Court orders Lokayukta probe against CM Siddaramaiah in MUDA land allotment case
Bengaluru: The Special Court for People's Representatives has directed an investigation into Chief Minister Siddaramaiah regarding allegations of illegal land allotment by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA).
The order was issued by a bench led by Justice Gajanana Bhatt, following a petition filed by Mysuru-based social activist Snehamai Krishna.
The court has instructed the Mysuru Lokayukta Superintendent of Police to conduct the probe and submit a report within three months.
