Bengaluru: Four held for rape of woman in car
Bengaluru: Koramangala Police have arrested four people under charge of sexual abuse of a young lady in a car.
The arrested men are Sathish, Vijay, Sridhar and Kiran, police have said.
The victim and her friend were at the National Games Park in Koramangala on the night of March 25, when the group of four came there. They threatened the young lady’s friend and sent him away, after which, they forced the lady into a car.
The group of men made a round of the city in the car, passing through Domlur, Indiranagar, Anekal and Nice Road, while raping the lady in the vehicle.
The men are learned to have dropped the lady by the road near her house at around 4 am, before making away.
The victim, who underwent a health checkup in a hospital, filed a complaint with the police on March 26.
A senior police officer has said that they are investigating the case further, to get additional information on the arrested men.

Trump says suspect was armed with multiple weapons at WH correspondents' dinner
Washington (PTI): President Donald Trump is addressing reporters at the White House after he and other top leaders of the United States were evacuated from an annual dinner of White House correspondents on Saturday night after a shooting incident outside the ballroom.
Trump said the suspect was armed with multiple weapons before stopped by Secret Service. One officer was shot, but he was protected by a bulletproof vest.
“He was shot from very close distance with a very powerful gun, and the vest did the job,” Trump said.
