Belthangady: Sujatha Bhat, mother of the missing Ananya Bhat, appeared at the office of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) here early Tuesday morning and for questioning regarding the disappearance case filed by Dharmasthala Police.

Bhat, who came to Belthangady in a car from Bengaluru at dawn on Tuesday, is learned to have arrived at the SIT office immediately. She is expected to be questioned in relation to the disappearance of Ananya.
