BJP leader Vinod Agarwal fakes blood donation during drive on PM Modi’s birthday for camera
Lucknow: Vinod Agarwal, the Mayor of Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad and a senior BJP leader, staged a fake blood donation during a camp organised by the party's youth wing on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17.
A viral video purportedly shows Agarwal lying on a bed at the blood donation camp as healthcare workers prepare to check his blood pressure. Just as the paramedic prepares to proceed, Agarwal suddenly gets up and leaves the room, prompting social media users to criticise him for staging the act merely for the cameras.
When asked about the video, Agarwal defended himself, saying it was a conspiracy by his rivals to defame him. He said that he went to the camp to donate blood, but the doctor informed him that, due to his diabetes, he could not proceed with the donation.

Bengaluru: Woman killed, body parts found in refrigerator
Bengaluru, Sep 21: A 29-year-old woman's dismembered body was found in a residential flat in Malleswaram here, police sources said on Saturday.
According to police, the women's body, cut into over 30 pieces, was stuffed in a refrigerator.
Senior police officers reached the spot and barricaded the road leading to the building where the body was found in a single bedroom house.

Police suspect it to be a case of murder, which took place about a fortnight ago.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
“We have identified the deceased but we are not disclosing it right now,” a police officer said.
