'CAA-NRC can be a lethal combination': Anjana Om Kashyap says in live web chat
New Delhi: AAJ Tak news channel anchor Anjana Om Kashyap said while answering a questions from live web chat, the CAA and NRC will be a deadly combination if it is implemented in India without working on it.
The statement from pro BJP anchor left everyone in shock as she said, “Among the people who will be left out for not having required documents, the Hindus will be made citizens of India under the citizenship law. Muslims, however, will not get citizenship, even if they are genuine citizens of the country.”
“The resistance (to NRC) is increasing across the country and the government needs to rethink its approach,” she added.

Masked dacoits rob 184 grams of gold from jewellery shop at knifepoint
Bengaluru (PTI): Three masked men barged into a jewellery shop on the outskirts of the city
and robbed 184 grams of gold ornaments after threatening the staff with knives, police said on Saturday.
The incident occurred on the night of July 24 in Nelamangala when the shop was about to be shut after the day's business, they said.
The dacoits did not hurt anyone and used the weapons only to intimidate the staff. They fled in a car after robbing the ornaments, a senior police officer said.
"A case has been registered and efforts are on to nab the culprits. We have scanned CCTV cameras in and around the vicinity to identify the suspects and ascertain the sequence of events," he said.
