Kishore sustained a finger fracture and serious injuries around his ribs and stomach. He is undergoing treatment at Mathuradas Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur.

The incident sparked protests by Dalit organizations, who gathered at Bhagat Ki Kothi police station demanding strict action. Station officer Rajeev Bhadu confirmed that the case has been registered and that investigations are underway.
