Dhruv Rathee, a prominent YouTuber and social media influencer, called on supporters of India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to watch his latest video on the state of India's democracy with an "open mind." Rathee emphasized that personal attacks on him are a diversion from the serious issues raised in the video, encouraging viewers to focus on the nation's welfare.
In his recent video, Rathee compared India to North Korea and questioned the functioning of the country's Election Commission, expressing concerns about the state of democracy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
The video also scrutinized investigating agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Rathee has been addressing issues related to opposition leaders in several of his videos.
"My only request to all BJP supporters - please watch the full video once with an open mind. The personal attacks on me are a diversion. The real issue is something very serious if you truly care about the nation. Wake up!" Rathee wrote in a post on social media.
Following the release of the video, some individuals believe that Rathee's content has negatively impacted India's reputation on the international stage. While some call for the removal of the video, others show support for Dhruv Rathee. The video has sparked discussions about the state of democracy in India and the role of influential voices in shaping public opinion.

Vitla: The diesel tank of a bus owned by the state transport corporation fell off at Mahavira near Maani on the stretch of the national highway here, but no casualty was reported.
The bus was reportedly traveling from Mangaluru to Arsikere on Thursday. At Mahavira, the fuel tank of the bus unlatched and fell on the road. In addition, the diesel also spilled from the tank, giving rise to fear of a major fire.
The passengers were immediately told to get down and were provided alternative means of travel.
The locals have alleged that the poor condition of the national highway stretch here was the cause for the near-disaster.
