New Delhi, May 30: The election to three Rajya Sabha seats from Kerala will be held on June 21, the Election Commission announced on Wednesday.

The vacancies would be created as three members -- Joy Abraham, P.J. Kurien and C.P. Narayanan -- are due to retire in July on the completion of their six year term.

The notofcation would be issued on June 4 and nominations can be made by June 11. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is June 14. 

The polling will be held on June 21 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and the counting of votes would be done the same day, the EC said.

New Delhi (PTI): Delhiites woke up to a drizzle and fog on Monday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 8.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

At 8.30 am, Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 402, in the 'severe' category, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed.

The rain is expected to improve the air quality in the coming hours.

 Humidity level in the city was recorded at 95 per cent at 8.30 am.
 
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 20 degrees Celsius, the IMD said.
