New Delhi: A video depicting a pro-Khalistan supporter issuing threats to a Gujrati man another individual is circulating on the internet, presented as a recent event in Canada.

The man can be heard saying in Punjabi, "Gujaratis, listen properly. We'll give you two-two slaps. If you want to have langar, keep quiet and have langar. Your community has done a lot of drama after drinking urine. I'm telling all Gujaratis, if you start fighting, we'll go into Gujarat, your home, and fight you. Go drink urine. Go do what you want."
Verification: The video in question, featuring the individual making threats in Punjabi, was indeed circulating online; however, upon closer investigation, it has been determined that the video is not recent and does not originate from Canada. Instead, it can be traced back to at least March of this year and was recorded in Southall, United Kingdom.
Our fact-checking process involved performing a keyword search on Google, which led us to discover a longer version of the video uploaded on the official channel of OneIndia News. This longer video, uploaded on March 23, 2023, was titled "Khalistani supporters threaten a Gujarati man in Southall." In this extended video, we could identify pro-Khalistan leader Avtar Singh Khanda, who was allegedly involved in an attack on the Indian High Commission in London.
A report published in the Free Press Journal corroborated our findings by stating that the incident took place in London's Southall. The report detailed that crackdowns on Amritpal Singh, the chief of Waris Punjab De, and his supporters had led to protests in the United Kingdom. During these protests, a video went viral, showcasing some protestors heckling a passerby.
Additionally, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa condemned the incident in his social media posts.
These are not Sikhs. Sikhism teaches us to live in harmony with one and all. I condemn such bullying. Nothing justifies it. https://t.co/3OngPWhEUS

Conclusion: It is evident that the video falsely portrayed as a recent threat to Khalistani supporter to a Gujrati from Canada is, in fact, an old and unrelated incident that occurred in the United Kingdom.
